  One of Rome's best kept secrets, River Dog looks like a hole in the wall from the outside and unless you know it's there, you're likely to drive or walk right past.
  
  The beer selection is fantastic (more beers from Georgia and Atlanta than most bars I've been to across the state), super chill owner, and a relaxing atmo with plenty of fires, heaters, and chairs. Majority of the bar is outdoor, with small space that is closed in around the bar during winter. There's enough heaters to keep you warm outside barring sub-40F temps.
  There's almost always a Speakcheesy food truck parked outside, which might be the food God always intended for people drinking to have. Seriously, it's delicious, and goes so well with a good beer.
  
  Want to get hammered and party hard? Go somewhere else.
  
  Want to see a redneck fighting with his brother over who gets dibs on the sister (looking at you Brewhouse and Mellow)? Go somewhere else.
  
  Want to enjoy time with friends, be able to hear each other, and drink from an amazing beer selection? This is your place.

  Everyone here is amazing. Michael and his wife are the most down to Earth, wonderful, good hearted people. The beer selection is on point and the atmosphere cannot be beat.
